Now what?

I wrote 31 articles in 31 days. A creative sprint that changed my relationship with sharing and learning, for the better.

I decided to publish all these posts here on Medium, following some simple rules I set for myself when creating them:

  • All articles need to be short;
  • They need to be to-the-point;
  • They need to include visuals.

Why short articles?

I believe in the power of brevity. Each sentence (and each word!) has a function. If I’m using too many words to say something it means I’m not being clear enough and I’m wasting your time.

Cut the excess and get to the point.

Why Medium?

All platforms have pros and cons. I was unsure whether to self-host all the articles on a custom-built website or if I was going to use an existing community platform built for quality content: Medium.

I pretended to fit into the “quality content” category.

No one noticed so far. 👀

Besides its community, what I like about Medium is its minimalistic design: the attention to typography and readability. It ticked all the boxes for me.

What happens tomorrow?

I strived to make the content as relevant as possible for most people from day one, but—at the same time—I was writing for myself, as an exercise to pin existing knowledge (and learn new things along the way).

Although, I found daily writing quite challenging. Some articles felt rushed, some topics not fully developed, and I didn’t enjoy writing quickly sometimes.

I’m not going to stop writing and sharing, but I’ll do it less often, with better content. Stick around if you would like to continue following my sharing journey 🚀

It’s been a pleasure so far! 👋
